French Fried Cauliflower

  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Mix egg, milk and oil.

    Add gradually to flour and salt, beating with rotary beater until smooth.

    Dip pieces of cauliflower into batter with slotted spoon.

    Drain momentarily, then fry in deep fat at 365° to 375° for 2 to 5 minutes.

    This is also good for okra.
