- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg beaten (optional)
- pastry for 9-inch double crust pie
Directions

1In skillet heat oil over medium heat.

2Saute onion until tender.

3Remove and set aside.

4Brown beef and pork together. Drain. Combine onion, meat, potatoes and seasonings.

5Line pie plate with pastry.
