- 2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- dash nutmeg
- 2 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- french bread sliced
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
Directions

1In a saucepan, saute onions and sugar in 3 tablespoons of butter until golden brown.

2Stir in the flour, pepper, and nutmeg until blended.
