French Raisin Pie

  • 1/3 c. oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 c. seedless raisins
  • 2/3 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 2/3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • pinch of salt

    and sugar.

    Beat constantly.

    Add eggs 1 at

    a time, and beat just enough to mix or blend. Add raisins and nuts.

    Stir in spices. (I mix the three together so they will be well blended.) Add vinegar.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell (9-inch).

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
