  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 c. peeled sliced raw apples
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

    In a large mixing bowl, combine oil, sugar and eggs; beat well.

    Add combined dry ingredients, beating well after each addition.

    Add sliced apples; mix well. Pour batter into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake in a 325° oven for 1 hour.
