  • 1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. raw apples, chopped
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Mix together sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla.

    Sift together dry ingredients and add to cream mixture, alternating with apples. Stir in pecans.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour

    in tube pan.
