  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. chopped unpeeled apples
  • 1 1/4 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients.

    Sift together and add flour, soda and salt.

    Fold in apples and pecans.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°. Remove from oven and pour hot glaze over cake in pan.

    Let stand in pan 2 hours.
