  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 4 c. diced fresh apples

    Mix oil, sugar and eggs in large bowl.

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add to oil mixture.

    Fold in apples, nuts and vanilla.

    Batter will be stiff.
