  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda

    Sift flour, salt and soda.

    Add sugar, Wesson oil and vanilla.

    Add flour mixture, then fold in apples and nuts. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350°.
