  • 3 c. chopped apples
  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. pecans or coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Beat eggs.

    Add sugar and beat well.

    Add oil, then vanilla. Mix flour and apples with this.

    Bake 1 hour at 325° in loaf pan or large flat pan.

    While still hot, pour Buttermilk Icing on it, punching holes to allow icing to seep in.
