Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. corn oil
- 1 Tbsp. chopped thyme or tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. crushed fennel seed
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 apple, pared and shredded
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- pinch of nutmeg
Directions

1On medium heat in nonstick skillet, cook onion and apple in oil for 5 minutes, stirring until soft.

2Let stand until cool.

3In bowl, combine turkey, thyme, fennel, allspice, pepper and nutmeg. Add cooled onion and apple.

4Shape into patties.

5Heat nonstick skillet on medium heat.

6Cook about 3 1/2 minutes per side until browned and done.
