Ingredients
- 4 c. fruit (peach, apple, blueberry, any fruit)
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Put first 4 ingredients in 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish or pan. Cream margarine; add egg, sugar and vanilla and beat thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients with milk.

2Mix gently to form a smooth batter.

3Spread on fruit.

4Sprinkle with a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

5Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes until crust is brown.

6Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
