- 1 cup rolled oats uncooked
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/4 cup margarine melted
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
- 6 cups pears sliced, peeled, (or peaches or apples), or plums
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F (180C).

2Combine oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, margarine and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; set aside.

3Combine remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, water and flour.

4Add fruit, tossing to coat.

5Spoon into 8-inch square glass baking dish.

6Top with reserved oat mixture.

7Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until fruit is tender.

8MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Prepare oat mixture as directed above; set aside.
