- 2 lb. fresh green beans
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of garlic powder
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
Directions

1Stem and wash beans.

2Put beans in a pot and cover with boiling water.

3Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute; reduce heat. Add seasonings.

4Cover and cook for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.

5Drain.

6Put in serving dish; drizzle with butter.

7Top with almonds.
