- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups canned chick-peas, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions

1In a food processor, puree 1/4 C lemon juice with chickpeas, tahini, garlic and lemon zest, until texture is nearly smooth.

2Add more lemon juice and salt to taste, mixing it in thoroughly.
