  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 c. sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
  • 3/4 c. pecan halves

Directions

    Mix together sugar, cornstarch and nutmeg.

    Add peaches.

    Mix lightly and spoon into pie shell.

    Bake at 425° for 30 minutes. Combine melted butter, sugar, orange rind and nuts.

    Sprinkle over peaches and continue baking for 10 minutes.
