- 2 c. crushed fresh peaches (about 4)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla (or use half almond extract)
Directions

1In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, mix crushed peaches, sugar and orange juice.

2Place over high heat and stir until boiling.

3Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes or until thick without covering.

4Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice and extract. Makes 2 cups.

5Serve warm on pound cake or chill the sauce to make up parfaits to place in freezer for future use.
