- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. pears, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream sugar and oil; add eggs one at a time and beat well. Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon and add to sugar mixture.

2Add vanilla, pears and pecans.

3This will be a thick batter.

4Pour into greased and floured loaf pan or Bundt pan and bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.

5Serve with whipped topping.

6(You can substitute apples for pears.)
