  • 4 c. soft pears
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten

    Combine pears, sugar and pecans and let set for 1 hour, stirring often.
