- 4 c. grated pears
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1In large bowl, combine pears, sugar and pecans.

2Set aside for 1 hour.

3Preheat oven to 350°.

4Butter and flour large tube pan. Using wooden spoon, stir into pear mixture the oil, vanilla and eggs.

5Add remaining ingredients.

6Bake 1 hour.
