- 1 recipe Three-Step Homemade Pasta
- 1 thinly sliced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine cup
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 6 c. fresh baby spinach or torn spinach
- 1/4 c. shaved Asiago cheese or Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Prepare Three-Step Homemade Pasta; set aside.

2In a 4-quart Dutch oven, cook onion in butter over medium heat for 7 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently.

3Add broth and pepper. Bring to boiling.

4Stir in the pasta.

5Top with spinach.

6Cook, covered, for 1 to 2 minutes more or until spinach and pasta are tender.

7To serve, ladle pasta into a bowl.
