  • 3 c. strawberries, covered with water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

    Mix 1/2 cup sugar, milk, flour and vanilla.

    Heat 1 cup sugar, strawberries and water to dissolve sugar.

    Melt butter in a 9 x 9-inch Pyrex baking dish.

    Add mixture to butter.

    Pour heated strawberries over mixture.

    Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
