- 2 fresh tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- 2 scallions
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 jalapeno chile pepper, seeded and minced
- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1Chop the tomatoes and red onion into equal-sized pieces. Finely chop the scallions, including green portions.
