- 6 Red Delicious apples or any red apples
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- cinnamon to taste
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 capful vanilla extract
Directions

1Rinse and peel apples.

2Cut into wedges.

3Melt butter in frying pan.

4Add apples, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla extract. Cook on low.

5Simmer approximately 20 to 25 minutes until apples are soft and crispy (not mushy).

6Sprinkle cinnamon over top of fried apples.
