- 6 medium carrots
- 6 tart apples
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Scrape carrots and cut lengthwise into thin slices.

2Pare the apples, core and cut into slices about 1/4 inch thick.

3Melt butter in a large skillet. Place a single layer of the apples and the carrots in a large skillet when the butter has melted. Cover tightly and cook until browned.

4Turn and brown other side.

5Just before cooking is finished sprinkle with sugar and salt.

6Serve on a hot platter.
