- 8 to 10 pieces chicken, skinned
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- pepper to taste
- oil
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans, toasted
Directions

1Soak skinned chicken in buttermilk for 1 1/2 hours.

2Combine flour, salt, garlic powder and pepper.

3Coat chicken with flour mix; let set for 20 minutes, then fry in oil until nicely browned. Place chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

4Melt butter and honey together; add pecans.

5Heat until golden brown.

6Pour over chicken and serve with rice.
