- 1-1/2 C all pupose flour
- 2 Tbs cornstarch
- 2Tbs baking powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1-3/4 C ice water
Directions

1Prepare the batter 30 minutes before using Mix all the batter ingredients, stirring until smooth.

2Heat oil and add large chunk of ginger in pan.

3Dip the chicken in the batter; fry few pieces at a time in medium to high heat (about 5 minutes for chicken wings). Drain on paper towels.
