  • 8 ears fresh corn, cut and scraped from cob
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. bacon drippings
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except egg into skillet.

    Cook until liquid is nearly all gone.

    Stir in beaten egg and stir corn until it is thick.

    Serve hot.
