- 12 fresh ears white corn
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cut corn from cobs and scrape cobs to remove all milk.

2Heat butter and bacon drippings in a medium saucepan until hot.

3Add corn, water, salt and pepper.

4Cook uncovered over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.

5Cover; reduce heat and simmer 10 to 12 minutes.

6Stir frequently.

7Serves 10.
