Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. beer
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 large onions, sliced 1/2-inch thick and separated into rings
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 6 to 8 small ears of corn (frozen), cooked as directed
  • oil for deep frying (corn or peanut oil suggested)

Directions

    Mix beer, baking powder, seasoned salt, egg and flour.

    Dip corn in batter; fry in deep fat at 375° until golden brown.

    Place in brown paper bag with paper towels.

    Will keep warm for hours.
