Ingredients
- fish (catfish, crappie and bass)
- pepper
- vegetable or peanut oil (1 gal.)
- corn meal
- Lawry's seasoned salt
- 5 to 6 white potatoes
Directions

1Either fillet whole fish or cut up into smaller pieces (size of 3 fingers approximately).

2Rinse and let drain.

3Put oil into deep fryer.

4Amount of oil needed will depend on size of fryer and amount of fish to be fried.

5Heat to approximately 400°.

6Sprinkle pepper and Lawry's salt on both sides of fish.

7Lawry's salt should just about cover the fish, but not too thick.

8Put meal (3 to 4 cups) in a doubled grocery bag.

9Put several pieces of fish in bag and shake until coated with meal.

10Deep fry until golden brown. Slice potatoes; sprinkle with Lawry's salt.

11Coat with meal and then fry.
