- several green tomatoes
- 1 c. cornmeal, with salt and pepper
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. margarine or olive oil
Directions

1Slice tomatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices. Dip tomato slices in milk. Coat both sides of tomato in cornmeal mixture.

2Lightly shake off excess.

3Heat margarine or olive oil on medium to high heat. Fry tomatoes on both sides until golden brown.

4Place on plate with paper towel.
