Fried Green Tomatoes

  • 4 large green tomatoes
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • oil for frying

Directions

    Cut tomatoes into 1/2-inch slices.

    Mix flour, salt, pepper and seasoned salt in one bowl.

    Mix eggs and milk in another bowl. Dip tomato slices into egg mixture, then into flour.

    Repeat again, coating well.

    Fry in hot oil until golden brown; drain on paper towels.

    Arrange on platter and enjoy!
