- 1 loaf sliced white bread, crusts removed
- oil for frying
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Directions

1Place a scoop of ice cream between two bread slices.

2Form around the ice cream and pinch edges together.

3Wrap in foil and return to freezer immediately, for at least 2 hours.

4Heat oil to almost smoking.

5Drop each ice cream bread ball into hot oil individually.

6Cook for no more than 10 to 15 seconds per side. Remove.

7Garnish with chocolate syrup and whipped topping.
