  • salt and cayenne pepper
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. white cornmeal
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • oil (for frying)

    Combine flour and cornmeal and season with more salt and cayenne pepper. Dip okra into egg batter and then into flour and cornmeal mixture.
