  • 1 lb. tender okra
  • Tony Cachere's creole seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • oil

Directions

    Cut tender, young okra into 1 inch rounds and season with creole seasoning.

    In a small mixing bowl, beat egg and add milk. Dip okra in mixture and roll in seasoned cornmeal.

    Fry in 360° oil until crisp and brown.

    Drain on absorbent paper.
