- 2 c. cornmeal
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- cooking oil
Directions

1Slice okra; place in bowl and cover with milk and let stand for 30 minutes; drain.

2Put cornmeal and pepper in a bag.

3Add okra; shake, then fry.

4Turn only once during frying.
