Fried Peppers

- 4 green peppers
- salt, pepper, oregano and sweet basil leaves to taste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Rinse the peppers; dry them well.

2Cut the top off peppers and pull out the middle.

3Clean and cut peppers into slices.

4Fry them in a little oil.

5When they are a little soft, cut the onion in small pieces; put them in with the peppers.

6Let them cook a little, then add your can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano and basil leaves.

7Stir it all together as the peppers are cooking. If pepper mixture gets a little dry, add a little water.

8Cook Fried Peppers 20 to 30 minutes or until tender.
