- 1 (3 lb.) domestic rabbit
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/16 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/3 c. sweet milk
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. top milk
Directions

1Marinate rabbit in milk for 30 minutes.

2Fry slowly in butter until tender and brown.

3Season to taste.

4Make gravy by adding flour to fat in skillet, blending well.

5Then pour in the top milk.

6Serve hot.
