- 1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (12 oz.) can fresh select oysters, drained
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine cracker crumbs, salt and pepper.

2Dredge oysters in crumbs.

3Place on a baking sheet and freeze until firm.

4Heat 1 inch of oil to 350°.

5Fry frozen oysters in oil until golden brown; drain on paper towels.

6Yield: 4 servings.
