  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 3 bouillon cubes (beef or chicken)
  • 1 (4 oz.) can drained mushroom pieces

Directions

    Melt butter in a skillet; add onion and rice.

    Brown, stirring continuously.

    Dissolve bouillon cubes in water.

    Combine all in a baking dish; add mushrooms, salt and pepper.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
