Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped, cooked ham, pork, bacon or Chinese sausage or a combination
  • 1/4 c. raw shrimp, shelled and finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 c. cooked rice (cold)
  • 1 tsp. m.s.g.
  • 2 Tbsp. scallions, cut fine

Directions

    In hot oil, brown garlic, stir in shrimp for 1 minute, then add meat sauce.

    Saute 3 minutes.

    Push to one side of pan and stir in eggs until cooked, then stir in rice.

    Season with soy sauce, m.s.g., salt, pepper and scallions.

    Mix well.
