- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 T hot sauce
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/8 cup self-rising corn meal
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 3/4 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1.5 - 2 pounds shrimp
- Peanut or canola oil for frying
