- 4 c. walnuts
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- vegetable oil
Directions

1In large saucepan over high heat, bring 6 cups water to boil. Add walnuts; cook 1 minute.

2Rinse under running hot water (drain well).

3In large bowl, toss nuts in sugar.

4Use deep skillet. Heat 1-inch of oil to 350°.

5With slotted spoon, place nuts in coarse sieve to drain.

6Sprinkle with salt.

7Toss lightly to keep from sticking.

8Spread on waxed paper to cool.

9Store in airtight container to keep fresh.
