- 4 cups Shelled Walnuts
- 6 cups Water
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- Salt
- Vegetable oil
Directions

1Bring water to a boil and add walnuts

2Boil for 1minute

3Rinse in hot water and let drain

4In a large bowl mix hot walnuts with sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved

5Heat at least 1inch of salad oil in a deep sauce pan to 325 F

6With a slotted spoon, drop in nuts and fry until golden brown. ~30 sec. to 1 minute

7Drain walnuts on tin foil and sprinkle with sea salt
