- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of cayenne pepper
Directions

1Cut off stem end and tip of okra pods; wash thoroughly.

2Cook in boiling salted water for 8 minutes.

3Drain and dry completely. Roll in seasoned cornmeal.

4Fry in deep fat (350°) or saute in butter until brown.
