Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. wonton skins
  • 1 lb. ground beef or pork
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, finely diced
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2 stalks green onions, finely diced
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. sake (Japanese rice wine)

Directions

    Brown meat in oil until brown and crumbly.

    Add diced water chestnuts and 1 onion.

    Season with soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper.

    Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

    Stir in cornstarch dissolved in sake.

    Add green onions and cook for 1 minute.

    Let it cool.
