  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sifted self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. melted fat or oil
  • fruit, vegetables or meat

Directions

    Stir milk into well beaten eggs; add flour and beat until smooth.

    Stir in fat and mix until well blended.

    Dip fruit, vegetables or meat into fritter batter.

    Drop into hot deep fat (375°) and fry until golden brown.

    Drain and serve hot.
