Frosted Cookies

  • Three logs of cookie dough (see recipe)
  • Generous layer of frosting or icing (see recipe)

Directions

    Roll the dough by hand into three logs of equal size, chill and then slice off rounds to create cookies.

    Bake until the edges are brown, about 10 minutes.

    Cool for about 2 minutes on baking sheets before using a spatula to transfer the cookies to a rack to finish cooling.

    When cookies are completely cooled, cover generously with frosting or icing.
