- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. light molasses
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and molasses.

2Add buttermilk, vanilla and flour sifted with soda and salt.

3Mix well.

4Refrigerate overnight.

5Roll out 1/8-inch thick.

6Cut out with cookie cutter. Bake at 375° about 8 to 10 minutes.

7Do not grease cookie sheet. Makes a lot of cookies.

8Frost with 1 recipe Seven Minute Icing.
